Before attending the Leadership Dialogue hosted by the Jewel Leadership Academy, I had a limited view of leadership as mainly titles and positions. As a 200L student of Gombe State University, my understanding was largely academic. The dialogue completely changed my perspective. I learned that leadership is first about self-discipline, service, and personal responsibility. The sessions challenged me to think beyond certificates and focus on impact in society. After the programme, I became more intentional in my studies, more responsible in group activities, and more open to mentoring my peers. The experience reshaped my mindset and strengthened my commitment to becoming a purposeful leader in my generation.
